Here's an idea I picked up from other people's post. I have a ton of CPP parts lying around. Anyone interested in a "free bird" project to bennefit someone less fortunate than ourselves? I'm sure there's a ton of people out there that cant afford a RC helicopter and would love to have one. I know I have parts I can contribute.
How many Kids (teens) and adults alike would jump at the chance. I know when I was a teen my family couldn't afford gas to go in our 1973 pinto with holes rusted through the floor boads.
Problem would be identifying a truely deserving person without getting scammed. Any ideas? Anyone interested?

There were a number of us that helped out a guy early last year. This guy had a son and daughter that were all jonesing to go flying. They got alot of heli's and spares but in a couple months, dropped off the forums...last I heard they were wanting parts.
Its sad but what txflyer is saying has a strong base in cold hard reality. Just because the heli is setup well and ready to fly does not mean the pilot at the controls is ready to fly.
How about we pick someone or a few someones that already have a ship and help them keep it flying while they learn.
One other fact, if you have your own cold hard cash into a ship, your more likely to take your time, be careful, pay better attention, take care of your toys.
I've sent parts free to help keep others in the air. I'd do it again....
