Hello everyone I have been flying the stock Hacker Ion-X for a couple months now and I am craving more power. My first thought is the Actro 32-3. I have heard of a couple people breaking the motor shafts but I am wondering if that is a valid concern. I am open to new ideas and I would like to stick with the 10S for now. What is everyone running with their 10s Ion's?
Also what does everyone here think about the Actro as far as power and reliability and also how well does the conversion kit install?

Thanks in advance.

I run Actro 32-3 in my ION on 12s and my E-Stratus on 10s.

Power is good, temp is good.

I managed to break one shaft on the stratus, but Im pretty sure it was pre-damaged from my R90 where I didnt have it run perfectly true against the main gear. I think that is the primary reason why shafts are breaking.

So take your time to install it, and it will hold.

More and more people realize that actro's are pretty good motor, they are not THE mot powerful, but since they run cool and (normally) hold together well, its my primary choice as overall best performance.

However, Neu is coming out with his H line of motors soon, that could make a change in my book :) Since Neu has been THE most powerful in all application ive tried them in, however, in their current form they have two drawbacks, heat issue and shaft slipping inside.
