:arggg: This is for the guys who like to do it yourselves :shock:
I run the plastic head parts ----2 sets of dampers-no shims
replaced the JesusPin with a paper clip(shears easier)
Eflight metal swash-CF Blades--Align gyro--
stock servos-DX7 w/AR6100 reciever-park 370 motor
I just made the tailrotor double motor mod with 2 tail motor mounts and some JB Qwik Weld

you used jb weld for the dual motor. you do know they go out fairly often. ive got a real dual mount im not using. 10 bucks shipped and its yours.

Thanks----Yes I have a box of 10 dead motors....was running them singly--the double set lasts longer.
I tried the GWS mod and burned it up in 4 flights.
Hey it's a toy-but it really costs too much overall

hey man if you wanted to clean up the tail boom alittle. you can get soem black wire loom for cars.. i just put a peice down my boom to hide to wires.

oh, yeah I bet that would look nice. Bet it would look pretty clean with some black shrink wrap for wires around the whole boom.

Plus if he crashes as much as I do the blach shrink wrap would give it more protection from the Boom strykes

i think the best protection from a boom strike would the boom fin that comes with the super skids setup.. for awhile i used the boom fin with out the boom supports. just put the fin where the blades are most likely to whack it..

The ar6100 was doing great but I had to send the radio back -I got one of the earliest ones and it has developed some glitches--see my post on the 2.4 gig radio thread :smokin:
