Hi,

I'm programing my Trex 600 with a DX7 and a G500T gyro.

Question... I have it setup the right direction, 90 deg from servo arm, ball link lenght.. yada yada.. but when I move my rudder stick.. it only moves 25% of the time and the rudder itself travels all the way? is this a GYRO thing or a Radio thing? I looked thorugh all the menus while I wait for my lipos to arrive and cant find anythign to help me in the radio.. do I have to play with the pot on the gyro? thanks a bunch in advance.

Sounds normal to me. On the bench it will do that in HH mode. Once a rudder input is given on the bench. The gyro is going to tell the servo to move till a command is given for it to stop. Since the heli is stationary, there will be no counter command given by the gyro.

I'm not sure I made myself clear... when I move the stick to the left or right on my dx7... I only have ot move it 25% of the way to get a full response on the physiscal movement of the rudder.... Is this gogin to make my rudder movements over sensitive?

That sounds normal to me for a heli that is sitting on a work bench and not being flown.
That is about how my gyros react when on the work bench and powered up.

Hi,

Like David says, it is normal. The gyro thinks: "hey, the tail isn't moving at all, so let's try some more servotravel"

In the air the heli will react normal. Try an ATV of 75% first and see how fast the piroets are.
