I think I may have toasted my 3-1 on the blade. I changed the crystal (to work with my 9c ch12) and the controller never gained control when I plugged in the battery...it took off full speed I grabbed it (was inside) and unplugged the battery...I replaced the blades (main and tail). I took it to some guys at my local club here in huntsville and when one of them tried to fly it we realized that the left aileron (ch6 on receiver) was locked up...he gave me another servo (he had a spare) I put that on and plugged up battery (left the control arm off to see what would happen). It started spinning like mad in one dirrection without stopping...I unplugged it and disconneced the servo from the receiver. Plugged power back, and it armed fine and everything worked except the servo I had unplugged....SO...My question is did the 3-1 go bad only on 1 channel???

If so, is there a way to program the HH channel 5 to control the alieron??? The stupid generic radio obviously can't...

anyone have any input?? :dontknow

I might suggest two things, but first, the crystal has nothing to do with the 3 in 1.
1)Did you try to put back in the original crystal? and see if it works as the heli should with the stock radio?
2) Try to plug a current servo into where the aileron servo should go and see if that servo experiences any problems. Conversely, try plugging the supposedly bad servo into the elavator spot. Does the problem follow the servo or the channel on the 3 in 1?
If it follows the servo than it's a bad servo, if it doesn't move and affects the same channel on the receiver than it is probably the receiver.
The 3 in 1 is just be responding to what the receiver is telling it to do.
Good luck.

Your radio should work just fine with the cpp Receiver. My 7chp worked great, no reason the 9c wouldn't work. Have you tried replacing the TX crystal to match the Receiver?

To answer;
1.) Yes, I put the original crystal back in with the stock radio and that is when I relized that there was a problem...I forgot to type that when I armed the blade CP Pro with the "new" crystal it took off and I held it to the ground to unplug the power and I think that is what might have fried the 3-1...
2.) I will definilty try this and get back to you!

Thank you for your help!!! I hope to revive the little guy! :arggg:

No, seeing as the TX crystal is MUCH more expensive as its a modual. It shouldn't matter what side I change the frequency on (TX/RX) as long as they match correct?
