No, this is just a sport scaler, so I didn't do lights. Besides, I was out of channels on my radio

Very nice work Rodan...when you say 'sports scaler' what type of moves do you plan to do with it? I've been contemplating a scale bird that I can do some light rolls and maybe flips but people I fly with say that cannot be done with a scale model...cheers

By 'sport scale' I'm referring to the level of detail the model has. 'Sport scale' or 'standoff scale' models have less detail than a competition level model, and are usually built for flying.
As far as aerobatics, I have done stall turns (pedal turns) with this one, but that's about it. I'm using to practice my scale flying, and just to have fun.

Sure, I own a 'real' helicopter... It's just not big enough to ride in!
The full sized MD500E (which I wish I owned!) belongs too the City of Mesa, Arizona. I know some folks in their aviation unit, who were kind enough to grant me access to take some research photos, and again to take photos when mine was finished.
