i cant find my info that came with the motor. but when ever i plug the battery into my cpp. i get a fast paced beeping coming from the motor and i cant get the esc to arm.. i need to know what the beeping means.

ive done some tinkering and still have this problem. i starting to think that i have a defected esc. i think this cuz the led on esc doesnt come on but there is beeping from the motor. unplugging one of the 3 wires from the esc to motor. the beeping gets very soft almost unable to hear. so there is power going to the motor. when i use the tail esc bec and diable to the main. the esc starts to warm. i think that the battery wires going from the esc to battery are soldered wrong. in that red is ground and black is positive. is there a way to tell this with out swapping them and running the chance of seeing smoke from the esc.

Can't answer the BEC questions without seeing the actual wiring setup, but it kinda sounds like you're pushing power back down the ESC line from another source. Easiest way to check BEC voltage is with a meter. If you hook up the batt to the ESC incorrectly, chances are you'll let out the magic smoke. If that hasn't happened yet, I'd say the ESC is fine. Are you still running the 3/4-in-1?? I had to pull the positive wire off my ESC's line to the Rx when I hooked my my ESC for my BL main motor. Perhaps you need to do the same?

you'll probably need to move the TR stick all the way to one side or the other to get the ESC to arm as it's going to be looking for "low" stick on that channel before it'll arm.

ya i know about arming it, i was on the phone with castle creations first thing this mourning. the guy was very helpful, and even tryed to help me get another esc to work. so i could atlest back in the air while waiting for my new cc10 to get here. problem was the esc was stuck or something in the initailization (spelling) so the beeping. was the first 3 or so beeps your supposed to hear. he had me hook up the tail esc so he could here the beeping. turns out it was the first time that him and 3 other guys near by had ever heard of this happening. go figure it happens to me, after a week being down along with 4 days of rain before that.

3n1 is gone, main bl esc wich is the set up in the cpp book. the 20amp esc with park 370, powers the rx. tail esc is plugged into the gyro. the gyro is plugged into channel 4. tail esc bec is disabled. no smoke what so ever. once i saw something was wrong. i had my hand on the cc10 anytime the battery was plugged in for trouble shooting. as soon as it was hot enough for to actually feel the smallest amount of heat i unplugged it for 5 or so minutes then went back to trouble shooting..
