I just bought a Blade CX2. Somewhere along the way I will want to use this Tx with another plane or helicoptor. ANyone know what 6 channel RX to buy for it?

I'm not sure if you can buy anything other than the CX2 rx for it.

Well after looking at the Tx more closely I see it is a DSM2 unit. That means (in theory) DX7 compatible Rx should work with it. I do know you can use the DX7 to operate it. Says so on the HH web site.

The DX7 is supposed to operate the CX2, but keep in mind the DX7 can operate the DX6's AR6000, but the DX6 cannot operate the DX7's AR6100 even though it's a 6 channel receiver.
If you're not going to use the E-filte receiver, I'd find someone that'll let you test the receiver you want to use before buying it.
Try for the AR6100, but like I said... test it first.

I doubt if I'll be able to rtey it before I buy it, but the Tx is marked as DSM2, so should be able to bind and control any DSM2 receiver (for 5 channels worth anyway). Of course that is only a theory. I will not know for sure until I try it.

I bought an AR6100 DSM2 Rx today. Bound to the Rx and works just fine. All 5 channels on the Tx/Rx work as expected. Of course the only options on the Tx are for servo reversing, so it is a minimalistic setup.
