Nice, I have an E-flite Cessna 182 I crashed this morning. I can fly the Trex in 18-25 mph winds but not a plank. Go figure? Since its foam, I'll have to drop another $75 -100 to get back at it.

a faom plank costing 75 to 100 to fix !! wow my very first real rc anything was a firebird freedom. i flew it into a soccer net, a 40ft tall light pole, my self 3x's. i ended up using a tech deck ( finger sakte board) melted and bent the ends then glued in place to brace the v-tail. main wings were like 15 bucks. post up some pics if you get chance. try out a slower easyer to fly plane.

I have a GWS E-Starter - I just use a few sticks of hot glue to get it back in the air :)
I also have an E-Flight P-47 that if I just look at wrong, the wing tips break off. I need to fix its ailerons and get it back in the air.

I have a Parkzone Stryker F27B. Bought it a few weeks ago, and have only fown it once. (last weekend)
It was rather windy (25+ mph w/ gusts a lot higher) but since it was foam, I figured the worst would be some tape or glue, or maybe a new wing for $15.
Um, yeah...
I was flying in a field with the wind coming head on to me, with a line of trees 30 yards behind me.
Got the S.O.B. stuck in a tree, about 30 ft up. :arggg: (I stalled going vertical, went to full power, but it had flipped and went behind me, full bore, WITH the wind. crashed in less than 2 seconds)
I came back the next day with a 12 foot extendable painters pole, plus a 10 foot stick of PVC.
After much climbing, poking knocking and swearing I got it down.
I expected it to be in BAD shape because it went in FAST (60 mph?) and then had me beating on it to get it down.
I re-charged the completely dead NiMH battery and gave it a quick toss and seems to be just fine.

lol my first time flying a plane. eveything went good. untill my 3rd flight of the day when i got confused, the plae was coming at me into the wind. the wind picked up and i started to loose control. by the time i got back in control the plane was full throttle, shoulder height, and about 15ft away.i had to dive out of the way. in the middle of the dive i happen to hit the controls and send the plane banking into me. some how it was just high enought to fly over my back and into a soccer net. the park ranger fell over laughing as did the other 3 familys watching me.
truth be told my next heli will be a rex450, i have a bunch of esc's and a few motors laying around that would never get used. so im going to get another plane and a boat or 2 over the summer..
rebuild : those tiny things are crazy. do they actually fly ? where did you get them
