I had a little accident with my 450SA and bought Align's SE Metal Re-fitting Components. ( HS1117T ) The box contains a tail boom mount, upper and lower tail pully shaft mount, and the upper and lower main shaft mounts. The parts bag contains four long screws, but looking at the heli, I need six. ( two for the tail boom mount, and four for the lower tail pully shaft mount ) Am I missing something obvious??? Are the SE and SA frames different? ( other than material ) My second question is, are the bearings press fit or do I need to "Loctite" them in? :dontknow
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks![/b]

Not sure on the screws, refer to the sheet that came in the refit kit to see where they go. Bearings are press fit, Generally we use just a dab of shoe goop to keep the bearing from spinning in place. I put mine on the outside diameter of the bearing to keep the adhesive out of the moving parts of the bearing.

Thanks Jermo,
Another question, I'm looking at the tail drive/gear pulley assembly. How do I take it apart? I know I can unscrew both mounts, but how do I get the assembly into the new SE mount? Do I just pull off the gear for the belt, replace my parts and re glue it to the shaft? Or do I need different assembly?
Thanks!

I'm not sure which parts you have. Two halves should seperate to allow removal. From memory to install it I don't recall 100%. That might be the part that requires a pinion removal tool to service but my gearset was assembled. Might browse the Finless tech room for info on that. I'll check when I get home but that will be several hours.
