Found this link on another forum. There were a few parts that made me cringe. The canopy is pricey but I believe there is a plastic version coming. I was disappointed to see the carbon frames are only 1.6mm thick. Guess that's how they got to 7lbs.

The canopy and the frames seem expensive. The other parts seem very reasonable.

Show me somewhere else you can get a painted fiberglass canopy for that price.

I guess that is relative. At the moment it is the only option. So if I wreck it I will have to spend 80 dollars for a new canopy, until something more reasonable is available.

I think that the painted canopy is cheap and a great bargain. I mean by the time you buy paint..waste all freaking day or two to paint it. Then it still comes out looking like crap. With these you buy them and they are ready to go. They also have a nice clear job on them already. At 80. bones its a steal. Most other manufactures canopys are more than that for a white one. I will buy these all day long at that price. Just my opinion of course.

Since I am a 3D beginner, I will just need plastic canopy. I have bought 5 blades to prepare for my future crash.

Anyone seen the cost on replacement clutches or fan hubs? I can't seem to find them on the site.

I don't think they have been announced yet. Probably waiting for everyone to buy one then they'll show up at $100 ea
