Default Blade Balancing

I think I've got a slightly out of balance set of blades for the SR, and I've also just bought a 450 which I've been told I need to get used to balancing blades!

Can anyone suggest a decent blade balancer that works with the 450 sized blades, or are they all as good as one another.

Thanks, Pete

Align 2mm blade balancer.

Works like a charm, super cheap.

Check out the blade balancing video on this page: https://www.helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=41692

I followed the instructions exactly and ended up finding that my stock blades, that I thought flew OK, were not balanced for weight or CG. Now there is no vibration, and that little tracking issue that I couldn't pin down is gone too! Now I watch a couple of those videos everyday just to see what I don't know yet.

Thanks, I think I've got some stock blades on the SR which are out of balance, I'll check those too.

One thing I've learnt as the heli's get bigger - such a complex and challenging hobby!

And....an acceptable hobby to work at on the dining room table!

Well, that all depends on how neat you are, or can be. My wife, theoretically, might be grumpy if I got solder on the table cloth or left little silicone rings from stripping wires in the napkin holder. Not that those things would ever happen of course

I had a mystery vibration too, so I threw my head on the dubro and finally got rid of that pesky vibe.
