There are lots of opinions out there and bout what is the best heli sim. I just looked at a website where someone was saying that G3 /3.5 was not realistic at all and that they recommend Reflex.

OK, so can someone bottom-line this for me; Any of you who are flying the real thing - if there is a counterpart in Realflight (for example raptor 30 and 60), is RealFlight accurate?

I have been flying on RF G3.5 for some time now and I am just now moving from the virtual world into the world of real RC helis. I don't want to be learning all sorts of bad habits if RealFlight is not accurately representing the way the real helis fly.

(Now I have been flying fixed-wing and in that regard I find RF to be quite accurate).

Many Thanks,

(I am running RF G3.5 with all the add-ons and heli physics at max settings, Pentium D940, Nvidia 6800GT PCIe, 19" TFT)

dont worry
realflight will get you up in the air....just have to treat the sim like the real thing and it will be fine

I agree with Kama1 mostly. I fly the T-Rex450SE. The biggest difference between the real copter and sim is collective management. The sim is easier on collective than my setup.

I did my first inverted hovers today on the real copter and found the feel to be almost the same. The biggest difference was depth perception. On the sim I can get the copter further away and still see it. At the field I stop seeing the copter at distance pretty quicly depending on background..ie tree's or sky.
