My flight from El Paso, TX got in very late last night and I'm beat, sorry not going to make this one.

I'm bummed I have to work Saturday or I'd be there, y'all have fun.
FSU if you are tired of waiting for someone in Tally to have an event, do what I did and go ahead and do it yourself.
Just do what Jax RC is doing in the fall, no cd, no sanction, just make it a gathering the first year.
If you want to sanction it and need a CD you know where to find me, though I'm sure you have one around there.

Yea we got enough heli guys here we could probably throw something together at some point.
I'm going to be leaving soon to come down. I got the 600N on Monday and it's all done except for servos, blades, and a rx battery. All of which I have yet to purchase. I plan on getting the servos and blades from B&B hobbies at Clintstone's event but that's what I said about the kit too. :wink:
I just can't stop staring at this thing. I want to fly it so bad! I posted a pic over in the 600N section.

Not quite as many as expected but had a good time with the ones that were there.
Hell I even got to see John Beech fly his own heli. Thanks to the club for putting up with all the rotory flyers. There were some awsome plank guys there in the evening time as well. BIG ASS PLanes.

Yup. Kudos to SPARKS for hosting the event. A little confusion with the plankers coming in early on Sunday but other than that, no snags. Didn't they see the pirate flag? :mrgreen: Too bad I wasn't paying attention as the hotwings were practically right next to me on Saturday and I didn't get to try any. Mabey next time.
