Invasion Kuwait

Hey All :
Yesterday we concluded our last day of the invasion in Kuwait..The first day was a total wash due to weather( Rain and High winds ) yesterday was Perfect.. winds 10-15 and temp around 60+..Little cold but quite nice. All who attended had a great time..Pizza was Delivered Hot to the field by Our Canadian Gasser team which was provided by BJ Services. Really nice of them.. We gave Plaques to the Most Improved Pilot, Best Crash, Drag Race winner and Top Dawg....We took lots of Pix and some vid's all which will be posted shortly..here are some pix that I took with my cell phone so the quality is not that good...Those who missed the event really missed out on some good fellowship and alot of great help and flying..we had one guy Armando who showed up with his shuttle and had never flown befor ..he actually got 2 hover flights in before he had a boom strike..very impressive..Again Thanks HeliFreak for all the support..

Yhea Im very please with the event.. We all had a great time..To bad our turn out was kinda small..but alot of guys were practicing for the event and stuffed their machines..But we had a really great time as you will see from the vids and photos as soon as I can get them edited and posted. :glasses2:

Nice to see some events going on in other parts of the world. Tell the pilots it is OK for them to stuff their machine at the event. But they shouldn't stuff them before the event. Thanks for the pictures Dean, gives a different prespective of that part of the world.

That is awesome that you had Plank flyers there to Dean!! Clint's HeliFreak-Invasion is all about flying and fun between everybody. It is about enjoying the full effect and positive energy of the love.

I personally LOVE flying my foamies and I have a few planks hanging on teh ceiling in my son's room. :D

We even had RC cars running just behind the parked cars...Yes we all truely love our flying and the hobby as a whole... There are no exclusions here..We are all brothers of the ART of RC ! If you want your family to grow you gotta help your brothers... :hug:

Hi Dean. And the rest of the heli freak team.
I had my first 2 hover before a small encounter with the floor that bend the tail boom, I have been an airplane guy for more than ten years now and it was my first attempt to Heli, I am really happy I got started in this event and I also got me a nice HeliFreak bumper sticker, My Heli is already fixed and ready to go also I got a Kyosho Mini electric to practice in door during the week days. I will also post some of my photos here of the new Kuwait invasion. I actually think it should be called the Kuwait liberation of heli freak.

Armando: You really did a nice job of hovering that shuttle... I was very please that you did so well the first day out...Hope you continue with this challenging endevour...Glad to have you aboard..See you at the field tomarrow...

Altough I missed my awards (both best crash and most lame went somewhere else :) - wait a minute, that last one wasn't there :mrgreen: - I really enjoyed the gathering. Way to go, hope we can have another one soon again.
