Anyone heard of these? They look like Voltz cells.

Used in this prototype flight....

Not to mention, their ads are all of a sudden littered all over HF. lol.

These are Charlie Stephens new packs he's offering. If you don't know who he is.. he was Outrage until he left... also started Rotorworkz, and now AleeS heli.... check out the Rush 750 stuff in there.. looks pretty cool.

Well... if in doubt, just get GensAce... I have not been able to find a bad report yet, and I def will be getting more of them.

FWIW, my Voltz replacements have been working very well, but still not as much power on demand as the GensAce packs.

Let me share a Brief history here…
When I entered this hobby I felt I had a skill to share. So long story short I designed and hand built my very first CNC router by jigging and welding together a frame to wiring up the controllers etc…. That all led to designing CF frame upgrade parts Which eventually became Rotorworkz. Time went on for a few year with many articles of products I developed and they were published by my friends at "RC Heli Magazine" Then along came Helidirect they offered me a dream to design Helicopters…… I left a perfectly good paying job as an Radiation Oncology equipment service Engineer For Varian Medical Systems. To taking a chance at a dream as Chief Designer for Outrage for nearly 4 years I gave to that company its very name this was my Dream companies name. I Poured my Heart and soul into it but As time went on Friction between Outrage and I began to set in and we decided to part ways for reason not needed to be shared in a public forum. But I will say the departure put me and my family in very bad finacial strain causing a huge change in our lives but we have pulled through I am back working for Varian and life is good.

So here we are nearly a year after my departure. My family and I have began to build our very own company "AleeS RC Inc." as the Owner and Designer I am also fellow hobbyist just as all of you are. This hobby is a passion to me and I thoroughly enjoy it! Starting an RC Helicopter business requires a lot of money…. So how do you pay for these things is where I stood….. Well Chrome batteries is a brand I brought to market due to the many connections across the world that I have developed over the years. Chrome batteries are built in a private Factory, not one of the usual known factories in china. It’s a newer up and coming factory that I have spent a year working with to help devlope standards also while trying to meet top Quality at a reasonable price. Again I am a hobbiest just as you I know what its like to pay full price. If problems arise and I am not able to see a resolve I will be the first to yank them from the shelves. But my goal is to try and do the best I can. Batteries is not the only thing I will have come to market soon Rotorworkz the very foundation that has put me on the map will be reborn with a twist.

So If you want to try my products please do so. Knowing I am in a hobby just as you but with a lot at stake. Success is only measured in this hobby by the people you share it with!

Thank for reading

I think were all bit weary these days, I know I am.

I've tried my share of new brands, and its kinda disappointing.

What I look in a pack is a flat discharge, it meets its rating, and it lasts.

So who's gona give these packs a shot?

Thanks for sharing Charlie.. I'm glad all is well. I'll certainly give these packs a try. I will be needing 2 more packs for my O550 and 2 more for my F50. I'll order them up towards spring. Winter is hitting soon so no more heli orders for me.

:clap Very well written Charley, I have been a fan of your work since I discovered the Outrage 550 Pro, which I have 2 of now, along with a Fusion 50. I can't wait to see the release of the Rush 750, which I will be looking to get one of.

I recently saw a link to the chrome lipos in one of your threads, now knowing that you are behind the design and release, I will be checking them out also. I feel confident in your products based on the history of your extremely high level of quality in your designs.

Thank You for all your hard work and dedication to this great hobby and for helping us enjoy it too...:clap

I LOVE RUSH!! They were my favorite band for many years.

Charley, how could you forget your Rotorworkz forum on HF;). In the old days and the droves of people who loved the Rotorworkz stuff. Thanks again for making the HeliFreak Edition T-REX 600 frames. Alan still has the set you sent me flying as a much lighter 600E than stock.

I go get my Chrome mCPX packs from the post office today, so looking forward to flying them.

Charley, I just ordered a pair of 6S 5000 35C's from Concept-RC for either your Rush 750 (which I've got a bunch of cash saved for... hint, hint...) or my from me-to-me Christmas present, a 7hv. I'm really looking forward to this stuff you have going. I know they'll be quality batteries.

LOL! I remember a post I made when I referred to Charlie as "Mr.Stephens". His reply was humorous. Charlie, I am thankful your family has perservered and stood the difficult times. I look forward to your helis and Chrome batteries...that is, unless I have to wax those packs to keep the Chrome from rusting! LOL! I too look forward to flying the Chromes. They will surely pimp out my 7HV!

Hah I was having a hard time deciding between the 7HV, E7, and the Rush but I love Charley's designs so I'm going for the rush. The others are sweet helis though.

Hey guys,

FWIW, I got to see some of these batteries today at a funfly in West Monroe LA. They look awesome as far as their structure and a pair of 6s came down pretty cool even after Austin put them through some rough smackdown flying with the prototype. I know I'll be ordering some.

PS: Prototype is friggin AWESOME... I think I'm gonna hold out for the nitro version.

PPS: Got to talk with Charley and his family for a bit... great people. Nice to know there is a down to earth person (and others) behind the ALEES.
