Hi All
I have joined the Bergen community also, just picked up my Intrepid Gasser EB yesterday and had a couple of hovers, they are a sweet heli, the heli is so stable I was told to get my finger of the pitch stick as I am use to constant correction in the wind with my raptor, no glow stick and no starter etc, just turn on and pull the cord and fly, I LOVE IT.
Can't wait to get out again and get a bit more confidence with it and fly it some more, it looks a bit daunting in it's size but as the guy who sold it to me said it is a big ***** cat.
Cheers Steve

Welcome, Steve.

They are wonderful machines. I love my EB, too. You've come to the right place. Lot's of great support if you've got any questions.

Thanks Mark I am sure I will, I have also bought one of Raja's generators to put on the heli which will be great no charging either, just got to get time now to put it on.
Thanks Steve

I'm jealous! I made a mistake on bought a gasser off of ebay that had been hovered only twice. Looks like it will be awhile before I get my hover day in. Keep us posted on how it flies (I'm transitioning from a TREX to the gasser) and good luck!

Calman, ever flown a T-Rex? Is there as much difference between the Raptor and the gasser as there is between the T-Rex and the Raptor?
I got a generator as well. Very nice setup. A little tricky to mount though, eh?

The Trex is a very twitchy little machine the Raptor more stable and then the Gasser is smmmooootthhh as. My opinion is the Gasser is the same difference as the Raptor is to the Trex, it was a bit daunting watching those 810mm spin up but when it lifted into the air and hovered it just sat there nicely, as I said in my first post I was told to get my finger off the left stick (mode 2) as the heli was moving up and down too much which was me being use to the raptor, I could literaly take my hands of the stick for a short time and it virtually just sat there. I flew it with the canopy off and it needs a bit of weight in the front after the EB conversion, that is the main reason I had to do any controls in the hover. I will post some photos in the next couple of days.
ts, sorry to read about what happened to you but am sure it will be going soon without needing too much done.
Thanks for the support.

Very nice. That's what I was hoping to hear, lol.
I can't wait to take it up. Maybe this weekend? We'll see :D
