i have just converted my pred to a turbine ,and fitted the longer boom no probs !
so lets go further and fit the tail upgrade, metal tail pitch slider, and the ali blade holders.,which are genuine century parts no cnxc208p
now here's were it gets naughty !!!!
having pressed out the existing bearings and thrust races from the plastic
tail blade holders which fitted nice and snugly, i press fitted the 10mm
external bearing ,regreased the thrust races and fitted these so far so good, the last bearing to be fitted is the external 2.5mm thick x9mm wide the bearing is sloppy there is a .5mm gap all around !
now you may call me foolish if u will, but surely it should be a 10mm x2.5mm bearing !becouse there is no support for the second bearing in the housing,
have i made a critical error?
or is there a replacement pair of bearings/parts missing from the sealed plastic bag !
or has there been a manufacture error ?
there was NO paperwork in the bag advising of any extra parts required to completethe upgrade !!!!!
at £30.00 sterling say $60.00 us they are bloody expensive blade grips
so can any body that has fitted this upgrade please shed light on this matter all the best from the uk dave

There were tail metal tail grips a while back. I assembled a Gasser for a guy that had them in the package.

I remember the old century metal grips for the raven/falcon line.

Those I remember and a few trying them on the P-max

But I did not see any official p-max metal tail grips released ?

lets see them pics interesting.
