I ran my Rex into the ground pretty hard and broke the tail servo case :arggg: .

I got the new case, am I correct that I have to desolder the pot to change it or am I missing something :dontknow ?

Thanks, Rick

in most every servo, the motor is GLUED into the case and the bottom of the motor
is soldered to the circuit board. so it's a major crapshoot to get it all out.

Most of the time, it's 'heat the case up pretty warm (not melt) and the motor should pop out'.

once you start prying excessively, the servo is probably junk
