i am still running in my NEW sceadu EVO 50(non hyper)
and after the second flight i refuelled and started the girl again, and while holding the head with one hand and starting it with the other, the battery died and she went FULL THROTTLE on me.....needless to say, but i had to change pants,

anyway, to cut this question short, i now have clutch dust all over my heli's frame around the motor...what do i need to look for and what to pay special attention to?

Sceadu 50, OS, 9255, 401, GV-1, 14MZ

Check the carb. Couldn't figure out why my engine wouldn't run right after the clutch gave out on me one day, 'til I took everything apart and found a very small piece of clutch material impaled on the idle needle. I'm guessing that the clutch material was sucked into the carb during the incident and became lodged by the fuel inlet, then I stuck the needle through it while adjusting trying to figure out why the engine wouldn't run. A couple blasts of air through the fuel inlet - before I tried to restart the engine - would probably have saved me a lot of trouble.

I am almost sure you're going to have to put a new liner in as well. Happened to me once:throttle servo reversed.

Na - you would need the engine at full rpm for a long time to toast the liner
(like over a minute)

Several of us have made this mistake,
you normall strip the engine down and clean it out with acetone or brake clean
I would er on the safe side and toss the rear bearing away

If the ring is not black anymore, shiny alloy colour, then it's toast
At that point you do need to inspect the liner but it should be ok

You need to check the clutch shoe and bell for damage
Has the clutch shoe expanded? If so then toss it...
