Just a quick question, the field I fly at is having a FunFly soon, and was wondering if this needed approval to announce from the Freak's? Not using the HeliFreak name to support or endorse it, just want to make it available to the Freaks here.
Thanks

Thanks for the reply,
I'm no officer for the club, so I'm going to make sure to get permission to post all the information and a link to the info from the club president.
Thanks again!!

I doubt they would care. Where in Florida?

Most likely not, but I'm a newbee at the field, and don't want to "ruffle any feathers"
Fort Pierce, 'bout 45 minutes south of Melbourne
Mixed flying field, pretty nice, but not a ton of heli room,....but should be fun none the less, also not exactly sure what the "events" are going to be,... But, we've got about 1/2 dozen guys flying heli's there on the weekends now, and are stiring up a good amount of interest, would like to develop more though.
I'll post details as soon as I get clearance from "tower"

No problem. Becareful if you invite the freaks, you never know how many will show up, we have a pretty good following in Florida. I had 37 pilots last year for my fly in and more are likely this year, c'mon up to Jax if you ever get the hankerin to take a road trip.

Well, just got word from the club president,...this event is club members only, not an AMA event  ,....
I think at the next meeting I'll start a motion for an R/C Heli OPEN fun-fly :badair: .
Cuda, I grew in in Jacksonville, started flying planks out at the old overflow parking lot for the TPC Sawgrass. Had alot of fun, also went out to white something or something white field,...way out west. Grew up in Neptune Beach actually, spent a good amount of time SouthSide and Middleburg.
I'll definately make it up there sometime
until next time, consider me embarassed for even mentioneing it

LOL reminds me of when our club had a fun fly. A member asked if I thought I could get some helicopter pilots here. I said how many do you want?
I only had 4 show up (with 12 helicopters) and he was like "Where did all these people come from"
