Is it possible to convert the fixed pitch honeybee into a CP by just replacing the head and battery?
What would it take?

I'd guess it's possible, but more time, effort and $$ than it's worth. (probably cost more than just buying a CP RTF kit)
You'll need the head, a different radio transmitter & receiver (you need one that does CCPM) and some sort of gyro. If you go with a stock E-sky Tx-Rx then it will likely be a 4 in one and include a gyro.
And 3 micro/feather servoes.
The 370 main motor should be ok. I have no clue about the tail motor.
