New to nitro!!! =)

Im am new to nitro and i have started with a knight 50 sport.
Nearly finished building just need to setup!
1 question - Do u set bottom stick throttle at zero carbaretor closed or do you leave it bottom stick open throttle slightly for tickover, also when you start heli do u apply throttle or not?

Set the throttle so at bottom stick and trim full down it is off. Then use the trim to set the idle.
