Just recently...like on the last three flights all 3 of my Align 22C 2100mAh packs PUFFED like a frikin blowfish :arggg:

I use a HR-Poly X low voltage lipo detector set at 10.2 V .The batteries were always balance charged via my Hyperion Charger and Hyperion Balance charger. Now I did notice the last charge I put about 1910 mAh back into the pack ,a little bit over the 80% range.Flight time was about 9 minutes of basic sport flight.

Was this due to overdischarge, not breaking them in the right way or just plain abuse on my part :arggg: :arggg: :arggg: :arggg: :arggg: :arggg: &*%(*&)%)&*^*%(*(^_^_(*^_(

1910 mAh is 90.9% and is way over the 1680 that 80% of 2100 is. I'd be shooting for around 1650 mAh max return to the packs....and that would be on the presumtion that they were fully charged to begin with (at full 2100 mAh capacity). Imagine if you had a fast charge at 95% = 1995 mAh and you took 1910 mAh out (95% discharge). Generally I am reading here that 5 to 5.5 minutes is the norm for the V2 with the new XL motor. I've been reading about lots of Align 22C 2100 mAh batts :badair: puffin. I'm almost considering not using mine and forcing it to juice up a future E-plank. Flight Power and Thunder Power for me!

IMHO No newbies like myself should be flying for more than 5 minutes on a T-Rex 450 NEW V2 (XL motor with 6 volt ESC/BEC) setup until they have the lipos well broken in and the charge/discharge rates bullet proofed.
