I know that I should post in the Turbine section....but I haven't seen anything about Bergens and I don't want to get into big involved discussions. I'm setting up my DX7 in a used Bergen Turbine and was wondering what pitch range is "normal" With ATVs at 100%, I get +8.5 to -8.5. With an ATV of 132% (150% max) I get +10 to -10. Is this enough pitch? :dontknow

+10 and - 10 is right on .. you might want to check the manual to make sure they hooked the control rods from the pitch servo up at the right measurement as
132 % sounds like a lot of atv to get the right pitch but then again I am not familar with the DX 7 radio. I guess the main thing here is that you have the right pitch.

Larry,

It was set up perfectly with the servos at 90 degrees. Mid stick was zero pitch mechanically. It just didn't go up or down to +10 or -10. Both atvs are set the same at 132 and both are the same pitch.

You wouldn't happen to have a spare PowerMax Trigger valve you'd like to sell? I'd even take the one you use

What I meant by hooked up at the right measurements was ,,the placement of the balls on the servo wheel . Are they 10 mm away from the center screw and 4 mm back from the center like they are suppose to be ??
If it is you may just have to use more ATV to get the +10 - 10 setting nothing wrong with doing that ... just make sure that you are centered pretty much in the washout guide pin slots on the head and don't bind at the top or come out of them at the bottom .
A picture would help ,,if you can .

Sorry ,, I don't have an extra power max trigger valve ,,, and heck ,,you wouldn't want the one I use , as it came without the proper oring seal and I have to use a servo grommet for that ,,,which tears about every other week . I am looking for something better too.
