New Stratus w/ OS C-Spec

Hey Freaks,
I recently purchased a brand new Stratus with an OS C-Spec installed. I have read many posts and have concluded that many people are choosing the OS SZ with the OMI mods. However, what should I expect with this stock C-Spec? Will it run decent? At this point I don't think I need absolutely all the power a 90 can deliver? What are the problems that the C-spec encounter? (inconsistant mixture?)
Additionally, I have a question regarding which fuel tank is most trouble-free. The one I have has a black plastic lid on it. Can you recommend (possibly w/ photo) a preferred tank.

Yes the OS CSpec will be fine stock.
As for the tank, the kit should have the newest style tank. This is the most trouble free tank when installed correctly.
The black plastic lid tanks have not been put in the kits for a year now, so it should be the new style unless the kit has been sitting on a shelf in a shop.

I read somewhere that if you have a lean midrange you can change your "cat eye" (needle valve as its actually called) with one of another carb, the 60K I think. David will know offcourse :D
