Hi guys,

I am going to finish the setup of my Lepton now but i have a question about the LEX ESC output voltage! :?:

Is it output at 5V or 6V? I am using the Futaba servo 3150 and gyro GY502 with s9254 as the tail servo. Do I need to add a Step-Down Voltage Regulator between the ESC and the receiver or the gyro?

Cause I found that the 3150 servo is only accepted 4.8V on it's web page! :(

Please help! Very thanks!

Is there anybody who can help me?!

Thanks!

I tested the 3150 on my lepton with a 5.9V switching bec. Non problem. But 9254 won't like it. Maybe in fact. Becaus you are still far from voltage of a 5 cell batt (6V means 5 cells). You are much more closer from a freshly charged 4 cell batt. And the tail of the lepton will put lot less stress on the 9254 than a IC 50 class heli. So less work. I'm prety sure that a 9254 will resist to a 6V ESC in this conditions.

About the Hirobo ESC, test the voltage with a volt meter.... It's so simple. If it's 6V you won't blow anything just plugin it in the RX.

Hi rotodingo,

Thanks for your reply!

I am using a 4S lipo. I have connected a voltage tester and the ESC into my receiver this morning. It identified the voltage is about 5.0 to 5.5V so I think it OK for me not to put any resistor between the devices! :D

Very thanks again! :noteworthy

Francis,

Where do you fly? I also have a Lepton and just able to hovering around.

Hi Joli,

My Lepton is still under constructing! Cause I'm trying to finding a new job at the moment!

You know... no money ... no talk la! :arggg:

Francis,

Take your time. I need a new battery for my Lepton as the one I have now is getting FAT. What battery you have? :)

Hi John,

I have bought two from Radar! :)

It only costs me around HK$500 each! It's 4S3200mAh!

You can go there and check it!

Great! Me the same!

But you better check it by phone first because they may be out of stock!

Francis, you are right. they only have the lower Amh batteries available. but I bought the Realflight G3.5 Simulator.

Hi John,

I do think they will have the stock later! Just wait for it!

Cheers,
