Im really feeling like im just thick in the head... was out today watching a guy who had only flow his raport about 15 tanks doing pretty decent figure8's. I have been working on them for weeks now, and im no way close to keeping altitude. The bird is all over the place, high and low... I made a recording of it just now, and was praying that someone here could take a look and tell me what im doing. Biggest problem is that I keep sliding the heli sideways into the right turn, making it climb waaayyy up there...
You're doing ok so early on
The sequence is aileron 1st, lean into the corner,
the faster you are travelling the more you need to lean
or the sharper you want the corner the more you need to lean
Then pull back the elevator, sharper you want to turn the more you pull
At the same time drop the collective a tad to avoid climbing
Then use the rudder to keep the tail horizontal
It's all very mild at low speeds
On the way out of the turn,
get out of the elevator early,
we want to leave the nose down a little bit
and get back into the collective early to start pulling forward
The turn where the heli was sliding and you swung the tail around
was due to not getting the aileron and elevator right 1st
Hope that helps - you'll get there

It does indeed, thanks a million man. Really hard to get some feedback and advice on the actual flying part. Setup you got tons of skilled helpfull guys, but with the flying your kinda on your own unless your in a club.
I will take try the advice you so kindly provide and see how it goes, again, thanks alot :noteworthy
Glad to help
I just thought of this:
Have a look in the virtual flight instruction menu,
pick helicopter and pete noitis
He has a tight figure 8 demo
in each of the four flying modes
(upright forward and backward, inverted forward and backward)
Turn on the Tx nav aid also if you like
