JR x378 and Reflex

Hello all,

I just wondered how you all fly XTR with your Trannies, Do you usae the mixing on your trannies or just use the standard setups on the software. I was interested in the Throttle hold. I don't know what I have doen but I set up a heli program and the head does not spin until I throttle up, How do I set a switch to keep the head spinning. Ignore my ignornace I am english and fairly new to this.

I have had a bunch of problems getting Reflex to work myself. I finally gave up. I will be purchasing G3 as soon as the helis are included.

I know this does not answer your question, but.... I could never get the hold and the idle-up switch both to work. I tried on a 9Z and I also tried on a 9C. :DOH I also could never get the tail to hold right. No matter what settings I used in Reflex. :(

Mine works fine.

One thing that you have to do is to use the F8 key to see what the channels are doing. It's just like setting up a heli in the bench. If you are getting signal out of the dsc port on the TX and the sim sees the output you can set up XTR to work. You have to confirm that the TX is working controls in the right directions. The autorotation should be set to an unused channel as your TX will take care of that. Something like CH 7 or 8 will do. Under Model Parameters F5, there are three check boxes in the center of the pull down. Make sure the top and the bottom are checked and that the middle box is unchecked.

Guys try the fix suggested on the reflex site;

get the JR connector supplied, unscrew the plastic cover and solder a 5.6Kohm resister between the two tabs of the connector.

(My Jr 2610 seemed to work most things but sw assignment was beatch :badair: . now it works great).

I suggest every JR Tx owner with reflex could look into this mod:D :hug:

After some time with it working ok Reflex is back to playing silly buggers like Will's probelems above; Tonight Ive ha heaps of trouble getting the radio or rather reflex to work with Auto etc etc.

I think it is dependent on which model you select (and some parameter of that model) plus wether you select Tail rotor active in Auotos (under Model parameters ) or Reflexs throttle or your radios mix as well.
