I am not sure with the Robbe number on the servo, which one of the Futaba servos it is. I would think that is just a Futaba servo with Robbe label on it. What is the specs of the servo? How much torque, how much speed?

David,
The robbe tail servo:
Speed:0,10 seg/45º
Torque:2 kg at 4.8 Volts and 2.5 kg at 6 volts
Price in Brazil: U$ 40,00
Futaba 9253 price in Brazil: U$ 150,00 !!!

Look on Robbe Germany website.

Here is the specs I got for the FS200
Dimensions: 40 x 19,7 x 37,8 mm
Mass/weight: 45.00 pond/g
Operating voltage: 4,8 - 6 Volt Volts

Torque: 20.00 Ncm Torque: 25.00 Ncm
Transit speed: 0.10 Sec/45°

Looks like the specs of the 9253 are similar to the FS200. But the FS 200 is not a digital servo.

The FS 200 Speed has less torque than the 9253, but the speed is .10. Servo would probably be fine on the tail of a 30 size heli. I would not use it on a 60 or larger.

I would suggest getting the Futaba 9254.

Ok!!!
I have 9253 in my Raptor 30 with Robbe G400, and 'my Raptor is in construction,I will put my 9253 in my Raptor 60(Gy 401) and Robbe FS200 in Raptor 30.I have JR 8417,but Curtis says that isn't a good servo for tail!
