Positive:
I've played with it for a couple of hours.
It absolutely feels different, better actually imo.
I'm talking about the most important part, the physics, there's a lot more going on when your flying, especially with the new wind settings.
Although i'm just a beginner with helis, I felt that the helis were a little light before this patch.
Sometimes not enough gravity vs lift.
This patch improved that imo.
Flying backwards inverted feels more connected too.
Btw,
flew a hour with the new P40 Mustang, thought it was 10 minutes.
Fantastic plane!

Negative:
All this new processor input asks a little more of your PC.
So i disabled the sun effect to get proper FPS and fast simulation.
And had to go down in resolution one step.
(P4 2,66Ghz Radeon800pro 1GB of memory)

The blade-bark sound is doing strange things to my AC97 soundcard, hope i can fix it, it gives more feedback imo, but if its not my soundcard can the sound be changed?

A great simulator and i feel more connected to the models now.

Got the latest drivers for your graphicscard / soundcard for your operating system?
Got the latest version of Directx (9.0c) installed?

Strangest thing, today Phoenix works perfectly on all 3 machines, all I did was to sleep for 8 hours, before trying again :D :?:

Btw, 1.04c is out now :glasses2:

Based on Freaker's reply ..... I'd say do a full shutdown and then restart after install.
