Does the 50 come with a header tank? Also are any of you guys using the frame tail servo mount? or does everyone use the boom mount? Are there any upgrades I need "Out of the Box"? I will buy the tail sevo mount definately just not sure which one.

Yes, the 50 bring a headers tnk. I use frame t/r servo mount on all my helis. I find it protects them better than on the boom. I clean my t/r servo with alcohol and then seal the seams with rtv before installing. Also keep in mind that you must check t/r sevo travel at the tail any time you move boom. As far as upgrades, the unit will fly fine as is. If you are an advanced flyer I would recommend the metal head block and durometer dampers .

Header thank is included.
I prefer the boom mounted servo mainly because of the more extreme temperature changes in the northern climate. I am constantly moving the tail boom to adjust belt tension for weather changes, any aluminum tail boom can grow or shrink by over 1/8 inch just from temp changes.

The only upgrades that I always recommend are the On Edge dampers.
If you are into hard 3D the metal head and tail speed up pulley do help.
If you are not into hard 3D yet, then stay with the stock setup till you need the better stuff.

I am basically the same deal, upgrade if you want bling but the stock hip will give excellent performance right out of the gate. I use the frame mount for t/r , gives better protection from, 1)oil 2) vibration 3) crash resistance. Those are my 2.5 cents worth.
