Pyro 700-52
13T Pinion

If you want a speed setup check for heavy blade like FAI blades (like used on TDR or Banshee). For the motor i think that some special edition scorpion or a powercroco or xera 4530 is the best. Also i read that normal radix are stable for high speed more the some FBL blades.
But for a full setup and tips you can take a look to a TDR setup, just for the motor and ESC choice.
I think that your #1 heli is better suitted. You can rewind the pyro...

Great. Thanks for the tips. #1 is the heli that I was trying to set up for a high speed ship. I have some standard radix 710's that I will probably swap out for the edge 713's. Will see if I can find a Scorpion LE motor in place of the pyro 700-52.

For high speed level flight you need brunt, stability and about 18 degrees pitch, i'd go for the shorter blades as stability becomes a problem with the longer ones. If you go for a high speed from a dive into level flight setup you can use any decent motor etc run esc max without gov as you want the blades to speed up to max. Two very different setups much more expensive and harder on the electronics to do a level flight highspeed machine, to have decent performance expect to pull in the 200 amp range and 2-3mins flight times.imop more challenging to do decent speeds from a dive as the pilot is more a factor and it's a real skill to do it right... and u can use your pyro motor.
