I maiden again today after a total rebuild, I got my XPS system up and running and configured, first flight was good mechanically except for the gyro, it was wildly sloppy and not holding right, got that fixed by uping the AP2K gain to 50% just to test.

After the tail settled down and responded nicely I noticed I could not keep the heli in a stable hover I trimmed it out, everything looked good but it got out of trim after some FF. After FF I bring it to a hover and trim do some more FF, and have to trim it again. my trim setting are only 3-4 clicks off center for ELE and AIL

Here is what I have setup

REV4 Norm
REV3 Norm
REV2 Rev
REV2 Norm

Swash SR-3 (CCPM Logo 10)

PITR 96%
ELER 50% (now 65%)
AILR 50% (Now 65%)
I am assuming this is = to CCPM setting mix in standard radio? because I have sluggish controls 50%

TRM4 +50% <--- Gyro I need to set this up better what is yours set to for a 401?
TRM3 0%
TRM2 0%
TRM1 0%

GRTD 1%
GRTI 2%

SCAL P-R

ELES NOR
AILS NOR

STAB IRx

Ring 100%
Phas 0%

EP 4-3-2-1 L and H 100%

Any help is appreciated, helis are either awesome or extremely frustrating sometimes.

Is this occuring with or w/o stabilization active?

That's most unusual. I've never had to adjust trims when not using stabilization. I'd submit this one on Spartan's support page.
