Throttle for heli not working right w/ DX7. Help!!!!

Ok I have everything working but the throttle just wont work right. I have my throttle curve at zero and it shows it going off in controll setting of phoenix but the heli still idels fast. When you look at the red bars after calibrating they jump instead of moving smoothly on chanell 1 and 6. My switch is set to normal. plus my idel ups wont work either. Using a DX7

Do you have the throttle hold switch ON? ..... All switches should be away from you to start. Watch Jermos DX-7 setup video and set everything up like he shows. That is what I did and I got everything to work. I then went back and tweaked a few settings afterwards.

Check the Helicopter setting and make sure that the governor mode is off as well.
