Ok so I am getting but hard by the heli bug and I am thinking about my next purchase and want to get into Nitro. Currently I have Trex 450. So what about a nitro heli.... I know the Raptors are great but I was thinking about something with CCPM. Any thoughts?

Raptors are great and fly just fine without CCPM. Parts are everywhere and http://www.raptortechnique.com guides you step by step through assembly and tuning.

The Hirobo EVO 50 is available in both mechanical and ccpm mixing, flys well, is supported well but its not as tough as the Raptor, its a little more complicated to work on and some parts are more expensive.

The Compass Knight 50 showed up at our field, nice helicopter and if support remains good will be a contender in the 50 market.

RJX has released the Hurrican 50, another nice 50 size though I've only looked at one on a table at a fly in I plan on looking one over closely and flying one next weekend at our annual fly in as one of the reps is bringing one.

Dont forget about the Century Predator and Align 600

Actually the Align 600 is what I was thinking about...

Now if I was going to get a Trex 600 would it make sense to also get a Nitro 600? Or should I just wait and get something bigger?

Well a 600 is a 50 sized bird and a 90 sized is well... BIGGER ;)

Yes I know a 90 is bigger... I was just wondering if there is any benefit to having a .50 nitro and a Trex 600 electric... or is that silly since its two of the same thing.

I guess is there a reason to have nitro birds and electric?

I them them both but am starting to see the electric appeal.

How do you like your Predator... Do you know anything about Century's Raven? How does your Ion X compare to your 600?
