i was flying at markham park the other day and there was about a 5-10mph breeze with dsome gustd. i was standing with the wind coming straight at me(first mistake), and my tail was acting up because i havent dialed it in yet since i got a new tail servo, so it wasnt holding like it should.
so i was flying and doing some loops and rolls and also did my first aileron tic-tocs. but as i was doing flips the wind caught it and brought it straight at me. i was able to hit throttle told which i think saved me a trip to the hospital, but I still got it pretty good. there is about a 3/4 inch gash on my right index finger(knuckle) and 2 more smaller scrapes.
but there is a good part to this story, my thumb is fine and i can still fly. :mrgreen:
