I have not yet manged to wear out a bearing in the heli. I always keep them fresh through landing in unauthorized orientations. $309 for a set of bearings is more than a new heli kit. The speeds that we are running are not near high enough to warrant the extra expense of ceramics.

me either.... but and your right i can't see spending that kind of money on a set of bearings but ceramics in the engine can benefit power production since some turn.... 16 grand plus. I've had some car motors that turned 45 grand and there was a big difference in power production when i installed ceramics and they ran so much smoother  :glasses2:

ceramics are nice and just dumb not to replace the stock hyper's bearings for the ceramics when its time (or hopefully right before - ) you cant beat the Avid's price, an entire new frame bearing set for , what 4 bucks, entire heli for 50 bucks and thats bell crank bearings too soooooooooo, cant beat it in my mind . But by comparison , gohbees grips bearing set w/ thrust 14.99, Helipros are triple that. Gohbee prices ROCK!!

no you can't beat Avid's prices. it's a personal preference in my case because when i was racing rc cars boca were the preferred choice now there's many to choose from
and gohbee's prices dooooooooo rockkkk :glasses2:

I had a similar issue with the trex 450 it was the feathering shaft.
Since it is so inexpensive, I would replace it. If it does not fix it you can always reuse it. Also ck the tightness of the washout arms to the base.

It's much better with the shims, When I get it back together I'll know for sure.
