Saw the post about the 1/3 scale Pitts being traded so I thought Id give it a try! ............ Lanier Edge 73" span, OS 1.60 FX with Bisson Pitts and Perry Pump, HS-5645's on all surfaces, 2750 NiMh RX pack, all hardware was replaced with the highest quality stuff availible. This thing is built right and only flown maybe 6 times. Jody doesnt know it yet but Im going to use him a reference for the plane  Jody Greer (InsaneAirFX) has seen and flown this plane and hopefully he will attest to its condition! (thanks Jody  ) Looking for a heli and equipment to get me in the air. I will look at all offers. Thanks guys!!!

No joke! This thing sounds like a chainsaw on steroids. I figure if you can fit a G23 in between heli frames, then why cant you fit a 1.60??? Thats something Id like to see, but then again I wouldnt want to be near it the first time it spooled up.

I do have many pics that I can Email to anybody who may want them. I would also be interested in trading this for Heli STUFF. Gyros, servos, engines, anything heli related to get my Falcon airframe ready to fly!!!

Yes it is BigHands. That OS 1.60 is one of teh cest big glow motors around and the sound and power is awesome.
Like I said above, since the Spectra is designed to accomodate many different power plants, it sure would be fun to put a OS 1.60 on one!! WOW

This thing really isnt all that bad with the Perry Pump. The stock tank is, Im guessing, around 12oz. Timer set for 10 min and still got plenty of fuel left when I set her down. The Pump makes it run more consistent and helps fuel economy, but I guess you guys know that since alot of you run .91 C-Specs that are pumped!!!

I would have thought the 1.60 would have been a fuel hog.... nice to know it does ok.
Ya'll have a great Christmas !

I'll bet the fuel mileage would be quite a bit different in a heli!

The fuel mileage in a plane is MUCH MUCH better than in a heli. With the plane there are many times where the engine is just cruising like on a downline.

Very true Kinger. I built a giant Hots in the mid 80's when the Hots was hot. I used a Tartan twin, converted to glow, with tuned pipes. 64oz charcoal lighter bottle was used as a fuel tank. I ran 25% heli mix at the time. The last landing was usually a dead stick! Can you imagine that pig in a heli? :D

Man, I was sure someone would want to trade something for this thing. This is a really nice plane. Friend of mine has a 30% with ZDZ80 and the planes fly just alike. I spent 3 weeks building this (an ARF), fiberglassed the firewall, moved the throttle servo into the motorbox to keep from having to add deadweight. Plane weighs under 12 pounds. Vertical is unlimited, hovers but wouldnt get to close to the ground cause it doesnt pull out like a foamie!!! Everything on the plane is the nicest. TruTurn Aluminum spinner, ProZinger Prop, all aftermarket hardware, ProLinks on the Ailerons. Come on, somebodys got something out there!!!

With tax time coming up I can also offer cash on top of the plane for a nice trade.
