Thanks for the tips! I already ordered a couple of those Hextronik batteries. People seem to be very happy with them. I suppose I will just wait a while and shell out for a decent power supply when I can. Meanwhile, the align charger, while it is very slow, does the job well enough. I did snap the horizontal fin, and I did replace it :? but at least it came with a spare vertical fin in the set, so I'll have that when I need it. No plastic parts on my heli, and the only cf parts are the blades and flybar paddles (and tail blades soon)

CF fins, main blades, paddles and tail blades are a really not needed. Most people find the plastic "batman" tail blades are the best anyway and the plastic paddles are just fine. CF main blades are good for advanced flying (although many do full 3D with Align Pro 325 woodies) but are an expensive choice for anything else. Of course there is "need" and there is "want" so whatever makes you smile is good.

I have a couple bare banana plugs stuck into my PS, then I just chain the alligator clips, as mine have them. One matching color clip onto the last...
