Got my Lepton in the air today. Kora 15-14, 24t, FP 4s 3700. Spectrum. The heli flies nice. Fast, stable, rolls great! Not pitchy. Over 2780 rpm in idle up with Spectrum set to 100-90-100. I've got +/- 12 and it's easy to bog it down but I'm using a CC 80 amp and who knows if it's programmed right!? CC says in the manual to use slow throttle response with Fixed pitch if you want a bailout option from throttle hold. I don't really understand throttle response settings. If the headspeed is allready 2800 does it mean we are slowing the rate that amperage increases when demand goes up?
Seems to have power similar to my Trex 450 and 600. But I can't slam the sticks around. Not as much pop as I thought it would have but then it doesn't have V blades either.
What I got: besides stock and above. Logictec 6100 gyro and servo. Love it. Readyheli servo mount. Love it. Readyheli CF tail blades. Excellent. Readyheli cf fin set. Not so good, heavier than stock and the vertical piece isn't long enough to protect the tail blades. I had one little bounce when I first took off in my driveway and scuffed the tail blades. I didn't use the horizontal fin, why add weight? Speaking of bounces, the stock main gear is too soft for this heli's weight! Medusa 6v 5A BEC and Airtronics digital servo's. Other than that well, this is a top of the line heli, just beautiful. Eric
