I was gosmacked when I saw this Vid. Allowing kids that near, and even picking it up (with power on?).

I would have loved to see this idiot get a face full of heli when he leaned over it. what the heck was this guy thinking?

My stepson gets nowhere near my heli when batts. hooked up I keep him at least 20ft away and behind me enough to were I can step in the way if something happens. I can take a hit better than a 2 yr old. Swatted one guys cx2 out of the air he kept flying it close to kids within 2 ft. He was warned to keep the heli away from them didn't listen so I settled it with my golf club. He's not flying anymore. :arggg: :bomb:

I had one of those things, its a 2 channel heli up and down and tail, the tail never worked right anyways. Blades are rubber, i have hit many many things with that, since you can not control it, the wind takes it all around, and no damage to anything ever, its really really is a toy.

I agree with Nick, it's just a toy. But if it was a T-Rex, well that would be a different story:thumbdown:

It's highly unlikely to kill but it can definitely cause severe damage to an eye, etc...

Back when I was learning to fly with a Blade CX2 I had an accident. I was flying it in my house and I when I bent down to pick up the heli, I dropped the controller... As luck would have it, the collective stick got pinned to the floor and the heli went to full power. Fortunately, that heli only had plastic rotors and stock power... I literally punched it out of the air (adrenalin was going). I was lucky, I didn't even have a scratch on me, and after replacing the rotors I was flying again a few hours later.

Now I have a Trex 600N... If that occured with this heli, I think I'd be lucky to be alive. So it was a valuable lesson learned, and now I wear the neck strap for safety, not just comfort.
