Great day of flying and the Steaks for Dinner where great. Becky must have flown 10 flights and Bob even got in a few himself. Man the trailer trash crew can really cook. Several new helis were stated today and Rick Copeland Wallbanger.......he punished everything he flew today. I re-geared my E-620 for the High temps today and I will say it still gets it done. Troys 620 is flying nice too. I flew Randy's 8s Rex today and we imediatly opted for the Torque-Tube when we heard the belt screech on the first hard climb out.
There is a group going to Sav. tomorrow to eat a Gina's favorite ........Paula Dean's Restaurant but there will still be folks at the house. Everyone will be back by 12:30 or 1:00. Thanks

Nolan, we would love to see you again. it has been forever. Cason is almost 50 pounds and about 45" tall. He will out grow me very soon.

We did Georgia legal fireworks last night so very low key, but as Clint said the supper was great.

Lots of love to all helifreaks and sorry you're not able to be here.

What a great day ! And unbeatable weather.

What's not to like about flying from under huge shade trees in a back yard that's seems made for helis.

Thanks Julie. Sounds like Cason is taking after that little fella your married to.

Glad to see all is well and hopefully after I get some time at the new job I'll get away for a weekend out your way. Been away from home working for the last 6 months so I have lots of things to do at home since moving back two weeks ago.
Belated Happy 4th of July and have a great week with the Freaks. ;)

They'll be moving pretty well by the time you get there I'm sure.
8:30 or after would be about right temperature wise, it gets damn HOT around noon through the afternoon.

I made an appearance Thursday evening, I have kids that want to learn to fly at my home field, so I'll be begging off this one.

had some unexpected visitors when these flew over....

I got to witness the seldom seen 'funnel around the tree' maneuver, with a 90 ! There was also some 'prune the tree' and lots of ankle-high 3D being thrown down. The flying is just awsome !

Thanks to all who came to the house and visited, flew, and cooked. Also, thanks to everyone for picking up trash and being so thoughtful.

thanks to all in the campers for being so great trailer trash to have in my yard. We look forward to the next gathering.

Sorry we didn't have enough power to run the washer and dryers in the campers too! Maybe next time.

We loved seeing you all and look forward to the next event together.

I want to start off by saying THANKS!! to everyone that was there today (Saturday). This was only my second visit to a flying field. The first one was much better than my back yard flying strip. Then I made it to Clinstones. Not only was it a nice place to lounge underneath all of the shade trees, watch everyone enjoying themselves with spectacular flying, but I was amazed at how welcoming everyone was to this newbie. Becky and Bob were helpful in pointing out who was who. I met them at XFC and was blown away when I first pulled up today and seen them standing in the front yard. I want to especially thank Wa11banger and Tommie. Those guys did not hesitate to take nearly 2 hours out of their relaxing under the shade trees weekend time to help me get on the right path with my setup. I learned a bunch that I will pass along to my local buds.......now that I know I have been teaching them just short of 90 degrees ;-) .

Thanks to everyone and I hope to see each of you again at another fly-in. Next time I hope not to have so many questions, but I learned SOOOO much today. THANKS!!

More great flying today. This is definitely one of the most relaxing and enjoyable heli gatherings I've ever been to. Clint and Julie are just fantastic.

There's a LOT of talent lurking under those shade trees.

Well, almost all are gone. Gail and Steve Dixon are still here and we are glad they always get to stick around so we can enjoy more of their company.

Bert, Earl, and Randy are still hanging out and I think Craig and David are still in Statesboro maybe? they haven't arrived yet from the hotel, so who knows.

We enjoyed seeing everyone and I enjoyed getting to see everyone fly a lot. It looked like all that came got in their fair share of flying.

Again, thanks to Gina, Troy, Jackie, and Gail, and Bob and Becky for food and cooking.

Also, thank you everyone for being so clean, I didn't have to clean up after anybody. That's awesome!

Love you all bunches and see you again soon.

We finally got home and unloded the camper. Now it is time to relax.

Thanks to Clint and Julie for all of their hospitality and a swell place to spend a relaxing holiday. It is always great spending time with you guys. Even the gnats loved us so much they wouldn't leave us alone! LOL

Thanks to all of the cooks for some fine eating. If I ate like that all of the time I would be a lot bigger than I already am. (Julie, Jackie and I want the recipe for that potato dish you made.)

The food and friendship of everyone was the best as it always is. You don't realize what you have until you must leave it all behind. We are really looking forward to the next time we can get together.

Clint, Julz, and Casun.. Thanks for having us over!!! It was a blast as usual, I can't wait for next time. There was a ton of talent hanging out under the shade trees.. Those guys can fly man o man. Learned a lot of good stuff from the pros and got some serious flying time in.. I think Tommy is the new Clinstone heli ho.. He flew more than anyone lol..

To all the cooks, Troy and Gina, Jackie and Cliff, Steve and Gail, and Julz, thanks for extending your families to us and the great hospitality.. I agree with Cliff if I ate like that all the time I would make the news.. Something about having to cut a wall out of my house to get me out ahaha.. Man the eats at this bash were excellent. Thanks for the hospitality all of you..

It was a great time had by all for sure. I cannot wait till the next one either. There were way too many skilled pilots available to gleen info off of. They brought the smack to the back yard for sure.

BTW I have to nominate Earl as king of the tree!! Left and right hurricanes around it, followed by smooth smooth funnels around it.. Can't wait till next year to see the tree competition again!!

Williecrashit it was good to meet you. I hope your gasser is flying well and by next time you will probably teach us a thing or two for sure :D. That's how we all do it share experiences and knowledge when we can to make it that much better

Lates all Im beat, it was an awesome 5 days of flying

Well, we've heard from just about everyone that they got home safely. Charley, let us know about you, Vickie, Austin, and the dogs.

Gail and Steve are still here.

Thank you all for coming and spending your holiday with us. It is so nice to have the Freedom to be able to do these events with our friends when we want to and noone to really stop us. Just a freedom note to remind us all of how great it is to have our Independence as a nation.
