Clint, Julie, Cason. Had a blast. You guys are awaays the best Host's. This hobby wouldnt be the same without ya'll. Love you guy's. We layed some serious smack this weekend and had a blast doing it. Bert did some of the best flying i have seen him do, everything was no higher than "Knee high". Earl got the dare devil award. He did consecutive hurricanes and funnels around that tree till i almost peed my pants. Dave Dilling gets the most improved pilot award. He laid it down all weekend with only one mishap in which he had back running in less than an hour. Clint was smoothin as always, but "low" he is flying like never before, and having fun doin so. Bobby Smith had some new stuff to try out, and he is flying like i have never seen him fly before. Charlie from Rotoworkz, had his new frames for the t-rex 600E out, and let me say that the design of these frames are "second to none", nice job Charlie. His Son Austin is steadliy improving, and is probably one of the most talkative kids i have ever met. I thought he didnt have a tongue till this weekend, LOL.
Was good to see everyone. Gnats were terrible, but it didnt detour us from havin the fun we deserved. If you havent been to Clints, you loose, cause it is the bomb.
Was great to see My boy Brian. And his mom and pop Teeroy and Gina. This family is my second family. Probably the sweetest most genuine people i have ever met, Love ya'll.
Had a blast, got alot of flyin in. Lets do it again soon.
Great so see Bob and Becky from B&B hobbies, always there to support us. Thanks guys. Cliff and Decal Lady, thanks for the back theropy. I couldnt of done the whole weekend without ya'lls help. Stevo and Gail, Great to see ya'll got the "Bib rig' there and were havin fun.
Great event. If you missed it, sorry you couldnt make it.

Sorry I haven't had a chance yet to throw my kudos in as well. I've been too busy flying my T-Rex 600N!
Thanks to everyone for helping out with finishing up my build. I would have been waiting for a good while if not for the gear I got from B&B though. You guys rock!
Your crankshaft lock tool wasn't the only thing that I broke Cliff. When we went to fire up the engine for the first time down here we noticed something was hitting hard trying to crank it. Turns out a piece of the piston skirt had broken off and made its way up into the head. I'm guessing that broke when I broke the lock tool. Luckily, one of the club guys (Chris Bailey) had a brand new Hyper engine and we did a little transplant surgery. End result is I need to order him a new piston and sleeve. Oh well, these things happen. Lesson learned. Tighten it until you
think you're going to break it, not until you actually break it. :(
Jay Leudecke helped me with final setup and did the first one and a half test flights before I took over. I've got 6 flights in on it now and successfully did my first tail slide today too. This bird can really go! I can't wait until my first gallon is gone so we can start tuning it and really release the beast. I just hope my skills are ready for it by then.
Back on point though, thanks to Clint and Julie for the hospitality and to everyone that let me hose myself down with bug spray all week. Even though I only flew twice I still had a blast.
PS. Tommy, if you're wondering where your RTV sealant went, I still have it. Sorry about that. If you'd like I can mail it to you. PM me.

What a bash it was. This was my first visit to Clint's and Julie's and it was a great time. There was some awesome heli talent in the "Yard" and it is a very humbling experience for a new guy like me. Thanks to everyone for the hospitality and see you next time.

fsu, check out 4563 (http://www.flyupyours.com/clints4th07/pages/IMG_4563.htm). Luckily Clintstone takes better pictures than I do. I think he took this one and got you in focus. You were always deep into that new nitro rex project whenever I'd come by. Btw, how's it flying ?

First, sorry for the double post, my compy was acting up mid-save. If anyone can delete it, that'd be ok with me. I couldn't find the delete option.
I must have missed 4563, looks like I was seriously concentrating on taking someone else's picture in that one.
The Rex is flying real nice. I put 6 tanks through it this past weekend (see my post above). I've posted a picture of me posing with it prior to the first test flight but after that I was too excited to bother having myself or anyone else take any more pictures! I'll try and post some more later in the T-Rex 600N forum.

This may have been the most fun event we have ever attended. Becky got to fly at least 20 flights, and I flew around with her trex 450 and trex 600. I think I am hooked on electric. Speaking of which my shipment of batteries finally showed up at Clint's after being stuck in the postal system for 2 weeks.
All the camper's had a great time and we are looking forward to IRCHA.

I talked to Clint not to long ago and he mentioned that he'd be very busy for the month of July...

I was staying with Clint at the XFC this past weekend. We talked about the July 4th Bash.
I am not speaking for Clint, but I do not believe he is going to have the event this year. At least that was the impression he gave me from our conversation.

Well that's too bad. :(
I enjoyed my trip last year even though I was building my 600N most of the time. Just had to check.
