The new G-Force clutch block for the 700N allows infinite adjustments for proper meshing between the pinion gear and the main gear. Since the 700N is supplied with a fine teeth main gear, close tolerance meshing is required to prevent stripping under hard collective use. The G-Force clutch block will allow you set up a perfect mesh easily. The clutch block also has extended range to work with other gear ratios.
The G-Force clutch block uses slotted screw holes allowing the clutch block to slide back and forth. The G-Force clutch block is supplied with locking hex nuts that work with the stock 700N shoulder bolts. Fine adjustments can be made without the need for thread locking compound if you need to adjust it.
The other unique feature over other aftermarket clutch blocks are dual pinion bearings that are retained at both ends within the clutch block housing. The G-Force clutch block also allows the use of the stock pinion clutch nut that will prevent endplay of the pinion shaft that rides within the two lower radial bearings. The third bearing top bearing is for the starter shaft support. All three radial bearings are factory installed. ncluded with the clutch block kit are specially designed engine mounts which also use locking hex nuts without the need for locking compound each time you adjust it. The G-Force engine mounts will allow you to keep the engine aligned with the clutch block. The engine mounts have the same adjustable range as the clutch block.

That is a nice one, I got a PM last week fro G-Force showing this to me. It is real solid looking, I like the fact that this upgrade comes with engine mounts to insure proper alignment. I am going to check this one out after the 1st of the year.

Me too, The G-Force it's been out for awhile not a new product. I like it, but it's a bit of a PITA to install and adjust as you can see by Bob Finless' videos. http://helifreak.com/showthread.php?t=129551 It's also a bit pricey IMHO, but it comes with adjustable motor mounts, because otherwise it makes no sense to have an adjustable main bearing block.;)

So, are you saying that the Lynx one is easier to install and adjust, because that would sell it all on it's own.

Bryan, the Lynx is a drop in upgrade and a very easy clutch block to remove. It is completely non adjustable. It works great with Mod 1 or the good old 164T -1 gear. That's it. :D.

What's wrong with the Align metal clutch block that would warrant this upgrade? Are people stripping gears? Having an adjustable clutch block and engine block just seems like an unnecessary complication unless I'm missing something here?

Nothing wrong with the Align Metal Upgrade main bearing block mount, but you have to admit it's a PITA to remove and re-install. I've been running the Align metal block for two years without any problems at all, however when it comes time for liner change or bearing replacement, oy vey , Just trying to pry the darn thing out of the frames is such a PITA. The Lynx is a very easy in and out bearing block. Disconnect the elevator links from the A frame, remove the main gear, unscrew six hex screws and out she comes.:peace. Not to mention ceramic bearings as well. Hope this answers you question.:D

Why not just dremel the tabs off of the Align metal bearing block? Accomplish the same thing and save you $60.oo bones. If you want the extra bolt in the center, drill and tap it, no big deal....
Shouldn't have to take the clutch block out all the time The Align metal cutch block perfect mesh and fit

Hey guys, dont know of any of you have experienced this but im on pinion no 5 now. The grub screws keep on slipping resulting in no engine start and a lot of frustration. I have dremelled the nipples now for a last try but if this does not work ill have to get a upgraded part. Will this mod sort out my issue?
