duralite 5.1 and 5.2 regulator on a 11.1 lipo

I was wondering if a 11.1 li poly pack would work ok with that regulator.

Will it overheat the regulator ?

I suppose a 2 cell 7.4 would be the way to go ? but I have tons of 3S packs.


How about a 2000MAH 10C 7.4 pack. That should work good ?
it would be good up to 20 amps and at 100 G it is lighter than the 4 cell li-ions

Chris either will work fine on those regulators . I personaly run 2s stuff only becuase iam looking for light as possible but i know a few people that use the 3s stuff
