Hi
I have a knight 50 sport my 1st nitro heli :D
I seem to be having problems with the tail.
Left rudder is workin perfectley and piroetts really well but right rudder is very sluggish and doesnt appear to have alot of movement yet its full travel of the rudder :dontknow

Ihave adjusted the end points on right rudder to stop binding but it seems to be too low at 35%

I am using a gy401, ff7 transmitter and KO propo pds2123 digi which is actually a car servo but is plenty good enough for the job!
Gain on gyro (AVCS) 35%, (NORMAL) -60%

Sorry about the long post but i am very stuck

Thanks for any help
Most aprreciated

Set your end points too 100% and set it up right mechanically..there are several threads on how to set up a gyro.. This doesnt appear to be a Airframe problem, and do get the correct servo for the gyro,it will be better in the long run.

I am setting up the Knight 50 Sport as my first nitro too :) and just installing the tail tonight (hope to spool up this weekend, we shall see).

I know the gyro / servo installation procedure, but the travel on the Knight rudder seems extreme. Do people choose really choose a servo arm length to use the full travel? If anyone has a suggested starting point for servo arm length, it would be much appreciated. (401 + 9254)

I ended up using the 4th hole on the servo arm with 4 arms, in the set of servo arms supplied with the 9254. This provides good travel, not quite full travel, but more than enough I can imagine.

I also ran into a problem with the kit missing a ball arm, the last out of 5, to have been used on the tail servo. Kind of annoying, when used to the Trex where there are spares of most small parts like that.
