Contest 1: International 3D heli expert level (Limited to 20 Entries)
Machine type: 50 size glow/electric heli of any make. Main rotor diameter limited to 600mm. Flying to self provided 3.5 to 4 minutes music.
Schedule:
Day One (8/18) Preliminary Qualifying rounds. Top 10 will advance to Finals.
Day Two (8/19) Finals. Top 7 international contestants and top 3 domestic contestants will receive awards as shown below:
First place: US$3500
Second: US $3000
Third: US $2500
Fourth: US $2000
Fifth: US $1500
Sixth: US $1000
Seventh: US $1000
All contestants will receive an Align T-shirt, baseball cap, and a pair of Align 600A carbon blades!

Note: Contestants of intermediate event are designed for first time participants, and should not have attended previous formal 3D contests.

Machine Type: T-Rex 450. Main rotor diameter limited to 325mm. Maximum 3S li-poly battery. Flying to self provided 3.5 to 4 minutes music.

Day One (8/18) Preliminary Qualifying rounds. Top 5 will advance to Finals.
Day Two (8/19) Finals. Top 5 contestants will receive awards as shown below:
1st place: US$1200
2nd place: US$1000
3rd place: US$500
4th place: T-Rex 600CF kit
5th place: T-Rex 600 kit
All contestants will receive an Align T-shirt, baseball cap, and a pair of Align 325 carbon blades!
Note: Contestants who placed in the top 5 in the 3D international competition are allowed to enter this contest, but will need to forfeit their award to the follow up winner of this event.

3. T-Rex 450 Obstacle Course (70% difficulty level of 2006 event for better chance of completion)
Machine Type: T-Rex 450
Schedule: Day Two (8/19) Afternoon.
This is the fun event. Rules are simple. Same heli must be used without part replacement to complete the course within 2 minutes. One attempt per contestant. Anybody who completes the obstacle course will receive a pair of 325mm carbon blades and a 3S1P 20C/2100 lipo pack.
All contestants will receive an Align T-shirt, and a baseball cap!
