ive posted this at trextuning and am reposting it here

hey guys just a heads up'ive just gotten off the phone with futaba customer support.very short and gruff person at other end.
the gist was "hi im calling to see what is rec for the reports of the s3154 burning out in ds mode on 6v?"
i was told we know of no issues.i then told him the forums were full of neg reports.sir we dont have acces to these forums :dontknow
sir on box it states servo life is reduced at 6v. i then said that that life was turning into 1-2 flights with destroyed helis.
in a nutshell the fellow gave me no good advice at all and seemed to not want to talk to me or allow the servo might have issues.

if this is the way futaba has become with its paying customers, then i am glad that i went to spektrum radios, and ill no longer support futaba with servo purchases,as others make just as high quality servos with much better customer support.

I've personally posted numerous times over the past few months that 3154s can not handle 6Volts "as reported at trextuning.com" so 450 SE V2 users of the 6 volt BEC do not use these servos. trextuning.com has a complete review on this!

Let your LHS know the next visit. Mine was unaware of the issue and was selling the 3154 with the new SE V2 kit .... until I educated them!!!!

AGREED!!! Futaba should not spec at 6 volts unless they are willing to back claims against it. JR3400G is a great tail servo.
