Yes. For a brand new engine, we suggest 6 oz for the first 2 gallons, then 5 oz afterwards. Per gallon of 87 octane gasoline.

Thank you for your reply, does the same ratio go for campers fuel?

Some of us run Amoil and camper fuel as low as 2 oz to a gallon.

I've had this oil before. I didn't think it was that high of a quality oil. So I sold it to someone else who wanted the oil. They went and used it in their gasser and at some point or another they burned up their engine. Now they were not that experienced with motors and gassers, and were never successful and it seemed like every little thing set them back. To make a long story short, I think my feeling that it was not the best oil is true, at least for me.

I would recommend you don't use it in something you really need to work well and if you have it there maybe use it in your leaf blower. I would mix it no less than 32:1 as you don't know how well it lubricates and stuff like that. Originally I had purchased my gallon of it as I was adding it to bottles of Cool power as they only put 17% oil in their fuel and I was adding 1 to 2oz per bottom to up the oil content some.

Anyway, go with a quality known good oil such as Yamalube 2R, Blue Marbel, or Amsoil. I've had experience with all those and they all did well. Just don't switch oils much so once you pick one stay with it.
